It has a MidWest grain box with a PTO driven Schwartz lift. The truck was assembled at the Ford Twin Cities Assembly Plant and spent the majority of it’s commercial use on wheat farms around Fargo, North Dakota. It may have been sold new to a newly started building contractor in the area and subsequently sold to an area farmer.I bought the truck and had it shipped to Michigan in late 2020, began accumulating parts and had the wheels rebuilt and equipped with (6) new Cooper LT235/117R tires. There are a lot of small dents and scrapes, but almost no rust, and solid floors. The distributor has been rebuilt, a new fuel pump installed and the carburetor cleaned and rebuilt. The battery is new. The engine turns over freely but is not running.Included with the truck are new door cards and arm rests, boxes of small parts, and a complete Y-Block engine and transmission assembly which I believe was sourced from a 1962 pickup. I was told that it is a runner, but needs a rear main seal. There is also a new set of mud flaps from what could have been the original owner.I am selling this project truck due to health and aging problems. It is located in Livonia, Michigan.
