1978 GMC Cabellero (El Camino) CLEAR Texas Title in my nameFly in, drive home. YES, it’s that reliable. I drove it 250 miles August 5th on a 100 degree day in Texas, with not one bobble. Cruised all day at 190 degrees on water temp, 45 pounds oil pressure & air conditioning kept me cool as I could be. This is a VERY nice example of the Chevy El Camino series. The paint is a 8 out of 10, Painted correctly, door jambs, under hood etc. interior is 8 out of 10 includes new Grant wood grain steering wheel and bucket seats. NO RUST ANYWHERE ON BODY. ONLY surface rust underneath, NO ROT. Very nice sound system with behind the seat amp. All the glass is good, no cracks in dash I have all 3 colors of paint for touch up. Also included 2 new in the box, replacement headlights. L E D headlights with halo. Dash, tail & turn signals are all LED. MILD custom, includes front spoiler, rear license holder moved down from tailgate to bumper, bed rails removed and side quarter windows covered inside & out. Stock 305 V8 with dual exhaust out the back. Not loud, just nice. NEW 700R4 transmission. Original Air conditioning restored and installed with all new components, VERY cold. Original radiator re cored. 2:73 rear ratio. New Crager SS Wheels. EVERYTHING works as it should. Except cruise control VERY reliable driver. Built it to drive but it does show well.
