1957 Ford Thunderbird (Red/Black)

Price: US $42,000.00 SOLD OUT

Here is a very attractive 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale. Refinished in its original colors, Colonial White with white tops and rare and attractive Thunderbird Bronze interior. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, Kelsey Hayes spoke wheels, front disc brakes and both hard and soft tops. The original Town and Country radio was inoperative when I got the car so it was upgraded to an original style AM/FM stereo Bluetooth after market radio. The dash speaker was also upgraded to a stereo speaker and stereo speakers were installed behind the seat The original non-functioning Town and Country radio and the original dash speaker will come with the car. The car was located in Northern California when I purchased it. Paperwork that came with the car indicates that it has spent most of its life in California and Arizona. I purchased this car from Left Coast Classics in June, 2020.   This attractive Thunderbird was beautifully refreshed around 2011 with new paint, new glass, wire wheels, Coker wide white radials, stainless lines, gas tank, weather stripping, trunk liner, new soft top, and seals and porthole hardtop with new glass and seals and more. It is an attractive example with a very straight body and excellent alignments and fitment. The car will also come with a portable storage rack, with cover, for the hardtop, the spare tire and jack, and a new car cover. Rust is non-existent and the undercarriage is as clean as when it was new.   The lovely Thunderbird Bronze interior is immaculate and looks nearly new with excellent upholstery, panels, carpets, headliner, and dash. All systems are in working order and this is a very comfortable car indeed.   This T-Bird starts and runs quietly and drives beautifully as well. It has a very strong 312cid with a 4-barrel carburetor, engine dress-up kit and a smooth-shifting Ford-O-Matic 3-speed transmission. Braking is power with discs up front and the power steering works flawlessly. The suspension is tight and quiet as well. Overall, this is a very nice driving car. As a side note, this car went across the auction block at Barret Jackson in Scottsdale Arizona in 2012 and is still in the same excellent condition as when it was sold at that event. Very few miles have been logged since then. A professional appraisal was done in April, 2020, and is available to serious buyers. Also, many more photos and a video are available.   This is a very lovely turnkey Thunderbird that is well equipped and has been nicely maintained. Should you purchase this car, you will not be disappointed. Buyer is responsible for pickup or for arranging transport. I will assist as I can.   The VIN# Decode is as follows:   VIN# D7FH239025 D(312ci 4V Fdmtc 245HP 9.1 Comp)7(1957)F(Dearborn)H(Thunderbird)239025(Consecutive Unit Number) Body: 40 Color: EE (Colonial White) Trim: XJ (Thunderbird Bronze) Production Code: 7C(March 7)71(Los Angeles)2039P
