It has a Fordomatic auto transmission that I was told was the original, and a Ford 272 V-8. I rewired the whole truck so that it has a central fuse box which is inside the cab and easy to access.I replaced the generator with a GM alternator and the gas tank was relocated under the bed. The original gas tank is still behind the seat but can easily be removed since it is disconnected. I had the wood bed refinished and replaced all of the carriage bolts in the bed. The dash has a Dakota Digital retro instrument panel with GPS speedometer. The mileage listed is from when I installed the new instrument panel. The truck runs great and was recently tuned up to get the timing right. It starts right up all the gauges work. Feel free to email if you have any questions that I might be able to answer.
