1965 Pontiac Tempest Custom Convertible. 82,550 original miles. $29,900. Only 8,346 units made of this convertible model which is the least number units made of all models Tempest, GTO and Lemans in 1965. I am just the 3rd owner of this rare Tempest Custom Convertible. Always garaged, no rust, all original Paint, chrome etc. The interior is outstanding and is all original including the carpet. This is a true survivor and overall in very good condition. The original paint naturally has various nicks & scratches which you would expect with the original factory paint but still has a nice shine! I am including a new gallon of the Montero Red paint should the new owner want a new paint job or some may choose to keep as a preservation car. Newer power convertible top in excellent condition. Power Steering, Power Brakes. The fuel tank, heater core and radiator cleaned. New carb, Water Pump, Brakes, Shocks, hoses and belts. It has the original 6 cyl. engine & the original 2 speed Power glide automatic transmission. It runs and drives great and has a very smooth ride. I have new radial tires on the original rims with the very rare and hard to find original spinner style hubcaps (see photos) and also have new American Racing Rims with new BF Goodrich T/A Radials on the car (see photos). Recently installed a new "Laguna" RetroSound 4 speaker stereo system (made for this year Tempest) but I also have the original factory radio that still works. Owners manual and warranty book.
