It is in fabulous unrestored condition. It looks good, runs well, handles well at full highway speeds. It was built in Kansas City, Missouri, number 1579. The original owner bought it from Crete Pontiac Buick in Crete, Nebraska.EXTERIORThis Pontiac is in very good condition, top to bottom, bottom to top. I found no rust and no dents. The finish is not fake patina. It was finished this way on purpose, black with just a hint of red peeking through. It is showy and when driven this is the car that everyone looks at and talks about. Both of the doors open and close as they should. There is no door sag. The trunk and hood line up nicely. There are fender skirts, Hawaii Fleet license plate, wind vents, sunvisor, headlight accents, spotlight, red police lights, red rear light, and blue reflectors. The original glass has flaws but it does not block vision. It simply adds interest. Twin pipes exit at the rear bumper.OPEN THE HOODYou will enjoy opening the hood just to show off, if so inclined. The engine and engine compartment are nicely detailed. A newly built GM V8, 30 over is completely ready for the road. The previous owner said the car was driven just 1,200 miles with the new engine. There is plenty of power. The hydramatic transmission was rebuilt. The car shifts perfectly. INTERIORThe interior has been completely refinished. This includes the carpet, upholstered floor mats, seats, headliner, door sills, pinch wells, and rear window shelf. The easy to look at pattern offers luxury and comfort.
