This 1978 BMW 320i remained with a single owner until 2020, and then I acquired it later that same year. Subsequent work included refinishing the exterior in metallic light green, installing seats with tan leather upholstery, overhauling the suspension, fitting 15″ Enkei wheels mounted with Yokohama tires, and replacing the battery as well as clutch and brake components. The car is powered by a 2.0-liter M10 inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes pop-out rear windows, a Spectre Performance air-intake system, a tubular header, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer stereo hooked to Pioneer speakers. This E21 has 132k miles and is offered with a stamped service booklet, manufacturer’s literature, service records, removed factory parts, photos of the refurbishment process, and a clean Florida title. Interior equipment includes black rubber floor mats, crank windows, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer stereo hooked to Pioneer speakers. The battery has been relocated to the trunk, and the removed factory stereo and black cloth-covered seats are included in the sale. The entire engine was overhauled during my ownership, with work including replacing the oil pan gasket, starter, alternator, timing cover gasket, distributor rotor, engine mounts, and various other gaskets, fluids, and filters. Modifications include an aluminum radiator, a body-color valve cover, a Spectre Performance air-intake system, and a tubular header. LED lights are mounted in the engine bay, and a strut tower brace is fitted. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Getrag four-speed manual transmission. Records indicate the clutch components and cylinders were replaced in August 2020.
