This Jensen Interceptor III is a British car with factory installed 440 Chrysler engine and 727 Automatic transmission with 32,005 miles on the odometer. This vehicle was placed in the family garage late spring 1998 and moved with rollback in June of 2022 after owners death. Before attempting to start, Battery, fuel pump,spark plugs and fuel filters were replaced. The fuel tank was drained and flushed. Spark plugs were removed and oil injected into cylinders and motor turned over by hand. Oil was sprayed on lifters and valve train. Fuel was added and motor fired and runs good. Car was driven 1/4 mile to ensure that transmission and all was working. Engine starts easy and sounds good. The car has not been cleaned or detailed. The original upholstery was leather with sheepskin inserts. The sheepskin inserts on the front seats had deteriorated and have been replaced. The rear seat sheepskin is original and in good condition. The driver seat has one tear low and next to the lap belt as seen in the pictures. The paint is in overall good condition with some paint chips above fender well on right side. Most of the under-body coating is in tact with no rust anywhere except for one small place on driver side rear fender as shown in pictures. The pleated leather is like new. The wheels are original. Weather stripping around windows is cracked. The power steering has small leak and fuel door switch works intermittently but door can be opened manually from inside. There are a couple of small dings on rear bumper. The tires have good tread but are 24+ years old and must be replaced before driving on highway. Included is a large box with many spare parts such as lights, filter, fuses, relay and such and a new in the box factory car cover custom made for this vehicle. Service manual and owners manual are included and original tool kits and fire extinguisher are in the back. With a tuneup and new tires this car is driveable.
