Vehicle Details 1971 International Loadstar1700, selectable 4x4 transfer case with High and low and Coleman front axle with free wheel or locking front hubs. Air brakes and power steering make this a a pleasure to drive. Engine is a 345 cubic inch with 197 hp at 4000 rpm. The fire truck body is by Klein products Inc. Serial number F81-011-027-92. It was built fir the US forest service and issued as vehicle 6099, it is called a model 60. The pump is Hale, model CBP3, it is rated at 175 gpm @ 400 psi or 275 gpm @ 100 psi. It carries 500 gallons of water. Gross vehicle weight is 27,500 lbs. overall dimensions are: length, 20’3â€, width, 8’ (8’10†including side mirrors) height, 8’5â€, ground clearance 9 1/2â€. The pump and valves all work, the truck drives very well. A few gauges are inoperable but overall this could go into service or used as is with high a level of reliability. In 2003 the Pine Ridge Valley Fire Department in Shaver Lake, CA provided a general tune up on the entire truck, draining all fluids and replacing with fresh oil and repairing any faulty wiring and addressing any issue that was in need of repair at that time.
