It was painted when I got it, I haven't touched the body, the only rust are a small spot on 1 quarter and a couple small bubbles on trunk lid. The under of hood had something by the latch where previous owner put a small plate that has worked good so I haven't touched it. Floors are super solid.4 cylinder engine runs good, sometimes has the typical top end rattle under load. Not a speedster for sure! Manual trans, brakes and steering. Rear end has a tiny oil leak, looks to be pinion seal. Driver door hinge could use a new bushing and oin, door opens and closes fine but does creak. Rearview mirror needs glued back on, I did once but came back off, must not have had glass clean enough.It has had new tires put on the front about 2 years ago. Carb was replaced when I got car 12 years ago. Odometer shows about 83,000 miles, but was replaced before I got car, and not sure what actual miles on the car is. Battery and starter solinoid have been replaced, and oil changes, otherwise it is pretty much the way it is when I got it. Seat has been moved back 8 inches or so, as I am tall. I just redrilled holes, so just needs unbolted, moved up, and rebolted to stock if you want to.Fun little car, it gets more attention at car shows and driving than my wife's Chevelle! I have had it long enough, and am ready to move on to another project. Great for a toy the way it is, or perfect for a V8 swap. This car is about as solid as they come anymore. I have tried to describe it best I can. Car is sold as is, where is. Buyer is welcome to look in person at it. Payment is preferred to be in person with cash. Money order or wire transfer would be ok, but would have to fully clear before car leaves (Which would take a couple of weeks to clear last I knew).
