This 1965 Chevrolet Impala has been my restoration project for years, it has been running steady and driving for 2 years, and has about 1400 miles on it since it was completed. However it still needs body and interior work but it is a sound car. It has a 468ci big block, paired with a Tremec TKO600 5spd manual transmission with a .64 ratio 5th gear and a 9 inch Ford rear differential with 3.70 gears, 31 spline Moser Chromoly axles and a Traclok Positrac carrier. All the floor pans have been replaced including the trunk pan. Along with new front and rear windshields and weather stripping, new fuel tank and lines ran, and the battery relocated to the trunk. The brakes have been rebuilt and the front has disc brakes from a 69 Camaro on it, and all the brake lines have been replaced with stainless steel lines. It has a quick ratio manual steering gear box, and all new front end parts, shocks, and front and rear are KYB gas adjust. Tires are also all new with 5 slot rally wheels and hubcaps. Exhaust is 3 inch front to rear with an H-pipe and 3 inch cutouts. The engine makes around 550 hp and 650ft lbs of torque.
