The engine and transmission are out of the car and the engine needs to be rebuilt. We have run out of time at this moment to continue this restoration. You will notice that most of the photos included are of the underside and interior floors so you can see just how good this original car is. If you have an old rust bucket 200 series MB that you would like to restore, this body is for you. Or, take the 220 diesel engine apart and rebuild it and you'll be in business. All other parts are included with this car with the exception of the radio and radiator are missing and you will have to replace the carpets. This car is so rust free that it has the original exhaust on it, and the exhaust is in excellent working condition. * The only rust on the car is in the trunk. The trunk must have leaked and so it rusted from the INSIDE, not outside. The pictures detail the trunk condition. You could put a carpet and mat over it and just leave it alone. It has no structural impact whatsoever.
