What you are looking at is a fantastic example of a rare 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood, the Flagship of the General Motors Company for over five decades. The Good: This example was purchased form an estate sale last year from the original owner. It has just 57,XXX original mile on it and is in far above average condition. The interior is very rare one year only optional brocade velvet with no tears, wear or stains (also has adjustable foot rests in rear compartment). The engine compartment has been detailed to include exact reproduction decals throughout and is 500 cid, yes 8.3 L. It seems to have had one repaint sometime in its life. Every option made that year except sunroof, even has an 8 track begging for some Elvis tunes. The bad: A/C is currently not working, I have had several GM cars of this era and most of the time it is the seals, the compressors they used are nearly bulletproof (Ford used them in their vehicles and even Rolls Royceâ¦factoid of the day). The longer I have the more I will fix and the closer I will stick to the buy now price. The ugly: main seal is leaking, I am afraid to use any stop leaks or additives, it doesnât burn a drop of oil but uses about 1/4 a quart per tank of gas. It is fine around town but if I was going to drive across country I would fix (I have driven back and forth to Dallas twice without any issues 600 ml round trip). I have the seal ($8), but have no idea cost $$$ to install. Now the disclaimer. PLEASE read carefully, I hope you can read since you made this far.
