79 trans am SE Y84, phs documented. Deluxe interior This has been a year long, frame off, rotisserie, nut and bolt restoration. All lines, rubber, bushings, front end, brakes, interior, everything...restored or replaced. I started off to build the car for driving fun, but kinda got carried away, and ended up with a show quality resto. The rear was changed to a 3.73 gear. The engine is a 70's 350 out of 442 i believe. I was going to swap to a 403 but this motor is much better! Quick revving, and high winding! It would spin the tires with the old 2.70 gears so i cant wait to see it go! It has 0 miles on the rebuild, has not left the shop yet, wayyyy to much snow out here now! I did not mount the ac compressor, id never use it and didnt want the clutter, but, the suitcase and every thing back is new, restored and works fine. The decals are the only thing not installed, again, its too cold here now, we need 70 degrees and sun to do a good decal install. We all know these y cars are going up this year, and i should wait til spring to sale it, but i have another car to work on and this one is in the way...this car is beautiful and as close to a new car as you can get.
