This auction is for a 1968 Chrysler Newport Convertible. Listed are new parts and work done: Rebuilt 383 engine Rebuilt 727 transmission Ignition system was replaced with MOPAR Direct Connection Electronics (No more points to worry about) New paint New top New Carpet New battery 5 new tires New front suspension components (rod ends, ball joints, etc.) Original factory radiator was re-cored Many new small and miscellaneous parts. Too many to count or list !! Very clean and detailed with much work done. However, some upholstery work could be done to make this car a real show stopper. Detracting Issues are as follows: Drivers door window is broken. (glass is GONE) Seats upholstery is worn and torn in places Gas gauge and radio are inoperative Please note: While the odometer reads 12158, it is not the vehicle actual mileage. The gauge cluster and odometer have been replaced. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt and the title reflects "Odometer - Exempt" Actual mileage is unknown.
