Up for auction is a nicely restored 57 Olds Super 88 Convertible. It was restored by the previous owner and finished in 2002. It has held up very nicely which speaks volumes for the restoration. It was originally a red on red with a white top and matches the data plate. It was a frame on restoration and is driven during the summer months so there is some use on the undercarriage and would require a good detail if it were to be shown at a concourse event. The motor runs just fine and has great performance. The transmission shifts well thru all gears. It goes down the road just fine and handles well. The interior was also restored with the correct upholstery and carpet along with the trunk area. The top was replaced at the time of restoration and does show some wrinkles as it has been up and down many times and functions properly.
