The first GTX came out in '67 and ran to '71. The engine has bigger valves with redesigned heads, extra long throttle bores, dual snorkel air cleaner, hot cam, oversized ports and valves, cast headers, 727 Torque Flite automatic transmission, front disc brakes, fiberglass simulated hood scoops, racing style pop open gas cap, 150 m.p.h. speedometer. Front suspension is heavy duty torsion bars with oversized anti sway bars and the rear suspension has heavier duty leaf springs. Real GTX is painted back into its original dark blue color with original engine, block, and transmission.
