For sale is my 1971 Jeep Commando , original Dauntless V6 engine and 4 spd , 4x4 . I got it last year from an elderly man's daughter in Arizona that was liquidating his estate , she said it was his father jeep and she drove it 40 miles for me to the DAS Terminal for shipping it to NY ( I paid $1,200 for shipping ) , but as many of my projects I didn't have time to play with it so it has to go , I don't know what it works or not in terms of gauges , etc , other than that , It starts , runs and drives well , good oil pressure . No radio . Solid truck with good frame , even the Jeep came from AZ , it is not a rust free one , it needs floor pans replaced as all do , floors were patched by previous owner with metal and rivets , but not a weld job . Drive it as is or restore it . The Jeep is complete with all interior/exterior parts , trim , emblems , original hubcaps , removable roof top , etc . No radio .. Vin yellow tag on driver side door jam says " September 1970 " . Very rare Jeep so do your homework before bidding , and bid only if you are serious about buying it , you are welcome to inspect the jeep , this is a daily driver Jeep , not a show truck , if you want a show quality Commando buy others for $12,000 here on Ebay .
